Dan I think this a grand Idea and since I am posting Senior Pictures, it will help with placing a face to the words (some of us need it to shake out the cob webs from the past!)

I don't know about any ideas Danny comes up with...

I remember him telling a story while at a party. The story includes shifting his car into "passing gear" while drag racing. He told us each gear has a separate passing gear...making a 3 speed actually a 6 speed transmission.

Oh, Danny! See how your history catches up with you ?!?!

Lenny

(actually...I think his idea is a good one...just don't add any more numbers to the year)

Hey Lenny!
How ya been??? I'm wondering if it isn't a case of 'age catching up with you'..LOL!! I don't think it was me who claimed that my car had 6 gears! Even back then..I knew that that was impossible....and also knew that everyone else knew that was impossible. What I do remember is that my folks new '66 Caprice had a HUGE engine in it..and would shift into passing gear even at 60MPH....and that it also had a 4 b carb on it...and would pretty much 'eat' anything anyone else had at that time. 6 gears...never!!! Did you stay in MV? Take over your Dad's shop? Best, Danny'66
