In Memory

Gary Veum - Class Of 1969

It was brought to my attention that we lost Gary Veum Class of 1969.  He was well-liked and a good friend. My family has known the Veum's since we were in Junior High at Allesandro. He and Harold (class of '66) Ritchie (class '68) will miss him as many of us will. All those who knew him will remember him as a good friend, a good athlete and all around nice guy. It will be sad not to see him anymore at our reunions that he enjoyed coming to!  Please take the time to share any life stories of Gary and how he impacted you to make life here in the "Val' more enjoyable for the family and friends.

So sorry 😐 to learn of Gary’s passing! Gary was a great 👍 friend from the moreno valley years. Gary was a true athlete always striving to succeed at any level. We shared many days training to improve our competitive skills to better our competition. Gary and I were able to share a few meals together on my travels to Portland Oregon and our conversation would recall ours days at Moreno Valley playing sports or thinking 🤔 about a special girl or girls, youth well spent. Rest In Peace my friend!

It brought great sadness to hear that Gary Veum has passed ,and way too soon. He was a blessing to this world.I send all my prayers and sympathy to his family. I considered Gary a friend, a quiet..in some ways, uplifting, kind and most lovable soul. Just hearing his name always made me smile and remember only good times. He will be deeply missed by so many.

Rest in peace my friend and classmate.

With Love,

Pat McDonnell
