Alan Mooney - Class Of 1969 VIEW PROFILE

Alan Mooney

It is with a saddened heart to hear from a friend that we lost another from MoVal; I was told through FB by Liz Cummings (69) that Alan Mooney (69) was tragically killed Friday night in a truck accident.  Alan was a personal friend of mine and we did a lot of kidding around … from riding skateboards where we not supposed to taking a surf day to go to the beach back in the day.  He will be missed but not forgotten on our website and I am sure when his others friends find out they will leave messages to the family how he impacted their lives. So return Alan back to the ‘Halls of Valhalla’ at MoVal where the sun was warm on our backs and it was a time of innocence (well maybe not all that innocent, but surely the statute of limitations has run out or our parents no longer care!!)

My heart goes out to Alan's family and friends.  It has been 47 years since Alan and I were upcoming artist in Danielson and Holcomb's art classes, fun time those were, but those memories are fading fast as time goes on.  But Alan smile will last for ever.  May God's blessings be upon his family and friends.

Alan and I went "steady" in my sophmore year. He and I were dating for a couple of years in high school. I saw him a few years ago when he was travelling through Morgan Hill California and we met for lunch. I love him to this day and was so very saddened to hear of his death. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

Alan was such a good friend in art class. He always made his friends feel special.  He is a friend who will never be forgotten. He was so kind and always had such a great sense of humor.  I am sad to hear of his passing.  I send my love and prayers to his family.
