Dear, Dear Sister, you were my friend and classmate, I am proud that I had the honor and pleasure to share with you those years gone by, you will always be loved and remembered on this site and in all of our hearts, rest in eternal sleep, Your smiling face will always be remembered. No longer with us in body, but never forgotten in spirit, death can show us the way, for when we know and understand completely that our time on this Earth is limited, and that we have no way of knowing when it will be over, then we must live each day as if it were the only one we had. One of the saddest parts about running this site is to have to report finding a Viking only to have to turn around and move him/her to the 'In Memory' Page. Charlotte Addy '68, Charlotte was my friend. When she saw me in the Quad trying to finish my homework between classes, she and Mike Massey '68, would come up and help me -- they were the ones who came along and really showed that they cared and would talk me through the problem. I am always in their debt for caring. Please take time to post a note 'In Memory,' for him and all our fellow Vikings!

WOW, I was stunned to learn of our loss. I remember living just up the street from you, your sisters and parents. We all enjoyed each others company back then and what I remember most about you was your vibrant personality. I am saddened by your loss and pray that your spirit will live long in the lives of those you touched.

Diane I am so sorry to hear about Charlotte. Your family was such a part of my childhood along with the other Edgemont folks that it seems hard to believe.

Dianne, how awful. I am so sorry to hear this. She was a beautiful young woman. I remember playing with her when I spent the night at your house in 6th grade. What a tragedy for you and your family. Rhonda

Diane,
I'm very sorry about the loss of Charlotte. I only just found out when I located the Moreno Valley HS website. You and Charlotte lived over on Hildegarde St and we lived one street over on Barbara Street. We all hung out together from time to time. My brother, Larry, also knew Charlotte well. I am saddened to hear of Charlotte's passing. She will be missed by all of us who knew her as a dear friend. She was always friendly. I remember a play at Edgemont School that Charlotte and Larry were in together years before our days at MVHS and that my family watched and enjoyed. You have my deepest condolences.

When I joined this site, I was deeply saddened that Charlotte (Charlie) is no longer with us.  We go way back.

First off, she was  in my group in Cooking class with Mrs. Sigmon in 7th grade at Alessandro Junior High.  Gosh, she is so smart.  I would say that she was our leader in how we get things prepared.  As silly as this sounds, she said that when I prepared the boiled eggs, I did them "perfectly" with a thumb up.  That made me smile.  She also delegated our duties when we did our final.

It was in 11th grade that she was in my Shorthand class with Miss Salzbrenner.  She sat up in front where I sat in the back.  We had fun times in that class.

I also remember her as a Cheerleader in high school.

Rest in peace, dear Charlotte.  Miss you.

Evy Timblin

I remember her as a cheerleader. I was 3 years behind but she was an inspiration to me. RIP
