In Memory

Trudy Gordnier - Class Of 1968

Trudy Gordnier

I was notified by Jennifer Pierce that Trudy died approximately 15 years ago. Today Jennifer updated that it was in 1992 that Trudy passed. She has returned to the 'Halls of Valhalla' to walk with her fellow classmates. She is in good company and will not be forgotten.

Can't believe she's gone.
Loved her so much. She was my girlfriend once upon a time.

Miss you sweets.

I am very saddened to hear that my friend Trudy is no longer with us.

We had good memories hanging out at RCC together.  She became engaged and I met her fiance, a Piano tuner.

When I was married to my first husband and just bought our new 2-story house at the end of a cul-de-sac, Trudy came by and brought her friend.  Jimmy and I gave them a "ride" in our Dune Buggy all over the roads, sidewalks and streets (before all these houses were being built all around us).  We had FUN !!!

About a few years later, I saw her mom.  She said that Trudy married an airman there at the base. Her new name is Pierce and he is stationed in Alaska.  Her mom was trying to have some pants hemmed because Trudy was complaining of the cold and needed more pants.

Trudy and I kept in touch until she got married.

I miss Trudy very much -- wished that we still kept in touch.

I actually didn't know Trudy until I was a junior in high school.  She had graduated earlier.  We had fun times going out to the base to flirt with the GI's.  She was a character!  I wondered what had happened to her over the years.  May she rest in peace.
