Brenton Fusmer - Class Of 1970 VIEW PROFILE

Brenton Fusmer

As reported by Chriss Ellis (class of 1971) tiggervil@aol.com  and family Brent Fusmer, Class of 1970 has returned to the ’Halls of Valhalla’ where he can be with others who proceeded him. To a place where he can be young again and shoot hoot, a time of his youth when we were innocent (well most of the time.) He passed on November, 10, 2015 Due to on-going fight with Diabetes; finally his he suffered Kidney Failure/Diabetes. He was living in Klamath Falls, OR USA.

He is Survived by his mother, and his sister, Jolene (Class of 1978.)  Brent had been struggling with diabetes for nearly 2 decades. He had lost both legs from just below the knee, but he never let it get him down. He had won a grant to see an Angel baseball game, and invite a couple of guests to join him along with his nurse and a couple of attendants. It was a privilege for me to join Michael Tuttle, Class of "71", and Brent to watch the Angels win a Friday night ballgame, and reminisce about "the Good Old Days". Brent was never at a loss for friends. Mike chauffeured Brent and his entourage that Saturday around Hollywood. I was surprised when Mike called me several weeks later to inform me that Brent went to be with the Lord, his brother Derrick, and his dad at 4:00 A.M. on the 10th of November. I can still see him shooting baskets and sweeping the basketball court during halftime. See ya soon Brent!

Brent was an integral part of all things sports at Moreno Valley. I recall Brent always being there to help in managing football and baseball, while Coach Johnson and Jordan were in charge. Brenton will be remembered fondly by me, and I am sure all other Vikings. My prayers go out to the family and friends.
