Beverly Koester Greenfield

Married second husband Gene Greenfield in 1979 in Lena, Il.
Retired from Honeywell after 34 yrs. (worked in production control, and international customer service).
Gene will retire in Dec. of 2010. He is an over the road salesman.
We have five wonderful grandchildren. Three boys and two girls.
Zach - 11 yrs
Luke - 9 yrs
Sophia - soon to be 7 yrs
Jack - soon to be 7 yrs
Gabi - will be 4 in the spring.
The children all live with-in one hour drive.
At 16 months Gabi was diagnosed with germ cell cancer and has been through 6 rounds of chemo, 5 days each and is now almost reached a milestone of 2 yrs cancer free.

My husband and I have lived in the country near Pearl City, Il on 2 1/2 acre's for the last 30 yrs.
Lots of trees and woods. Very small town. My children went through one school from start to finish. Very different than what I had to do as a military child. We will move to Tucson, Arizona for the winters as soon as my husband retires. Eventually we will make our home there.

I love retirement and keep very busy. It's amazing how much there is to do.
