As reported to me by Linda Jones Cavender ('68) life time friend of and his sister, Thelma.
Kenny Phillips (class of '69) passed on May 27, 2014, in Colorado and now has returned to MoVal to walk with the many others in the ‘Halls of Valhalla’ where they again enjoy the memories of their youth and times in the 'Val' growing up.
He will be missed. He is survived by another sister Anna Faye, his brother, Charles, children Sean and Jennifer, and four grandchildren

I am so sorry to hear of Kenny's passing, I received an email from Kenny last year and was so happy to hear from him. I remember Kenny so very well from school and remember how loved he was by every one that knew him. In his email to me he talked about his family and how much he loved them. Rest in peace sweet Kenny you were a good friend.
