Thanks, Pam. Much appreciated. Had a nice quiet birthday with my family in Tucson. Hope all is well with you. God bless.
The news of Gayle's passing really saddens me. I did not know Gayle that well, but clearly remember her. Yes, as others have said, she was very quiet and shy; but there was always a presence about her that spoke of a hidden strength and dignity. It was something you sensed about her. That quiet confidence of being content with herself. Obviously, it was her Christian faith. That thing that you can't touch but feel in the grace that she carried herself and in the way she spoke. She was very kind. The very simple gesture of offering a birthday salutaion to me when in fact we didn't know each other that well in school speaks volumes of her enormous capacity to love and care for others. And you just know it is something she would never take credit for herself. It is very humbling to realize what a very magnificent human being she was and what a tremendous loss it is to all of us. It is funny that her passing would have such an impact. I guess it is the realization that it was in those little things that Gayle did that we can appreciate the essence of who Gayle was, which to me, was.......love.
Sorry, but her loss really saddens me.

Hi Marianne. It's Tom Daly. Say, I was going through one of my portfolios and had a lot of art work from high school. One of the pieces I have is a portrait of you done in charcoal. Would you be interested in having it for a momento from you high school days done by an artist who was madly in love with you? LOL.
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom, was pursuing this site and somehow your name popped into my head. It's vague, but do you remember me or even know who I am? BTW - Larry Edwards lived at the bus stop on David Lane, he and my brother Walter Crager were buds and I learned of his tragic passing this past week from him. Stay cool (Blythe?!)
