Dr. Gordon E. Harrison Supt. Of Schools in Moreno Valley died in Las Vegas, Nevada of Prostrate/ Spinal Cancel 1997. Daughters Nancy class of 71 and Dianne class of 69 were by his bedside.
Dianne and Nancy and the family Harrison, it is with the greatest lost to one in losing their 'Giant' and that is what your father was - a Giant, often we do not see or understand their guidance when we are under their roof, but as we grow and have families of our own - we soon discover that we miss our Gentile Giant who protected us and had the moral fortitude to say 'No.' to our wanton desires. Your father was not just your Giant but all who had contact with him, all of us kids, and teachers alike. He was and did a super job for Moreno Valley. Please except this long overdue bereavement. He is now listed in the Honor Roles and will reside here in the “Halls of Valhalla!”
