During my elementary, jr and senior high years, Kathy and her sister Dawn were my very good friends. We went to the beach, to each others houses, etc. and generally had fun. Kathy was a loyal, and good friend. She was very sweet and generally always in a good mood. Sadly, she passed away from cancer and is missed by all who knew her.

My sister Kathy passed away July 30, 1988 after a 13 year battle with cancer. After graduating from Cal Poly Pomona she moved down to San Juan Capistrano, Ca., working at a senior living facility. From there she moved to Marin County where she met her future husband Andy. Andy was in the Navy and was relocated to  New York and Kathy went with him. They were married in Middletown, New York.

Kathy lived her life as though there was nothing wrong with her. She was one of the strongest women I know. I miss her dearly, she was the wind beneath my wings. Although I wasn't able to be with her in her last days my Mom was. I spoke to her via the telephone every day. She was always upbeat and full of life, she never gave up. To quote her husband "Kathy was a beautiful person inside and out". We all miss you and love you Kathy
