School Story:
I left at the end of my junior year when my Dad transferred to Sacramento. I dated Al Forbes all through high school. I staged the first student sit-in to get permission to have a Black Student Union Organization at Moreno Valley. We chose the name SOUL-Student Organization for United Leadership. Moreno Valley was the beginning of my social and political orientation and will always be in my heart. I met some wonderful friends that I will always remember.
