Phillip was the steady boyfriend to my sister, Annette for quite a long time. He and I went to school together and spent lots of time together also. He and John were permanent houseguests and we loved them so. My folks would be saddened to know of their passing. I, myself was very upset to read it on the Memory Page. I often wondered why I could not locate either of them through the years. We enjoyed their company so much. they were always welcome in our home because my folks had an open-door policy. If someone needed a meal or a place to lay their head, they could be confident the Jenkins' would have an extra plate at the table or a pillow for their head to rest on. Sunnymead way back in the 60's and 70's was the place to be. Low crime and lots of loving family and friends to spend time with. It's just too bad progress had to move in and ruin what we all treasured. Rest well, my dear friends. I will say a prayer.
I knew the Harris Family growing up from a family of six kids. I remember June, Doris Ernie, John,Philip and I think there was one more @ Moreno School and 4-H.Gayle
