In Memory

David Everett Sutton - Class Of 1981

As reported to me by his sister Cindy Lynn (Sutton) Wootten, Class of 1980

David Everett Sutton (Class of 1981,) in Spirit has come home to the ‘Halls of Valhalla.’ Where he joins all the others who have preceded him, he will always be remembered with bigger than life smile and loved by many from MoVal and the community… He was born 1 April 1964 and passed 10 January 1992, he was but 28. He lived in Moreno Valley

He is survived by his widow Victoria Cortez, his sister, Cindy Lynn (Sutton) Wootten, his 3 daughters: Holly Sutton, Margarita Sutton, and Mary Anne Sutton...he never got to meet his 10 plus grandchildren. Step father Gene D. Stiles, an awesome brother-in-law James W. Wootten (and others out of state). He is joined in death by his deceased brother Michael Dean Sutton and deceased Mother, Mary Anne Sutton Stiles.

David passed away on the evening of Jan 10, 1992. His death devastated all of his family and friends. He was an extremely funny, intelligent and witty young man. He attended Midland Elementary, where he met and grew up with others from the Valley... a few of the names I remember are Jim Straughsbaugh (his very best friend), Gut Fogelman, Tim Pennels and Jock Vickers. He later attended Moreno Valley High. He was in the graduating class of 1981, however ended up taking the GED course to get his diploma. He married Victoria Cortez in the mid 80's and had his 3 daughter's, Holly, Maggie and Mary Anne. He loved his little family beyond anything and worked for a Landscaping Company until his accidental death. He was not only my very dear brother but he was my very best friend as well. I miss him every minute of every day... May you Rest in Peace my Brother... I love you sooo much... your Sister, Cindy xo
