It was reported to me by Nina Wincn Reynolds (‘71) that her brother Roger Wincn, who graduated with a GED (’72) has passed and has returned to MoVal and now walks the ‘Halls of Valhalla’ along with all the others who proceeded him. Back to a time of our youth, a time of innocence (well maybe not all that innocent but surely the statute of limitations has run out or our parents no longer care!!) Roger and knew the “Val” and grew up in Sunnymead. He found his way and moved to Las Vegas, NV. Roger was born on July-3,1954 and died on July 29, 2016. He was just 62… He is survived by Susan Wincn John Michael Wincn 70, Nina Wincn Reynolds, 71, Bonnie Wincn Joslen, 76...

Roger,
I just learned and I’m sad to hear of your passing. I have nothing but fond memories of the times we spent together. The annual Christmas plays at church. The Bible study group we attended to earn our red bibles. Company nights at Disneyland with your family. Sleep overs with your brother (not his choice). I actually thought I’d hurt myself if I heard “Rocky Raccoon” by the Beatles one more time, but always enjoyed my visits with you and your family, your unique bedroom, farm house kitchen, and especially... our time together. My prayers are with you, thanks for being a good friend, and I look forward to seeing you again.
